Community Civic Education Training in Mbabala & Batoka
On the 14th and 15th of February 2026, Transparency & Accountability Lab conducted community civic education sessions in Mbabala and Batoka targeting women, youth, persons with disabilities, traditional leaders, and church leaders on the Constitution of Zambia (Amendment) Act No. 13 of 2025.
The sessions focused on enhancing citizens’ understanding of legislative reforms, promoting inclusive participation, and encouraging active engagement in governance processes, especially during delimitation consultations.
We sincerely thank Chapter One Foundation for their invaluable technical and financial support, which enabled us to reach diverse community groups with accurate and simplified information on the amended Constitution and strengthen civic awareness at community level.
