Shaping the Future of Youth in Local Governance
From 6th to 9th October 2025, Transparency & Accountability Lab took part in the ICLD Conference on Youth Inclusion in Local Governance, held in Lusaka with support from the Swedish International Centre for Local Democracy (ICLD) and the Embassy of Sweden.
The conference brought together leaders, local government representatives, and changemakers from over seven countries to exchange ideas and strategies for strengthening youth participation in governance and promoting inclusive decision-making at the local level.
We remain committed to advancing youth inclusion, transparency, and accountability in local governance. As Zambia heads toward the 2026 elections, we continue working to turn global commitments into local solutions that empower citizens and promote democratic leadership
